The Boys & Girls Club in Concord was also a huge part of my life.  From the time I moved to Concord
in 7th grade, I spent a lot of time and made some
of my best friends through activities and clubs within the Boys & Girls Club.  Like so many of the other people that work for non-profits, all the folks that work in the Cabarrus County Club are tremendously dedicated to providing a positive atmosphere for the children of their community.

The Boys & Girls Club (an affiliate of the United Way) offers so many activities and organizations for children to be a part of, including after-school programs, summer camps, middle school & high school service clubs, football, cheerleading and basketball programs. 

The Cabarrus County (Concord) Boys & Girls Club has recently moved into a brand new, state of the art facility.  The new building is absolutely amazing and will allow them to further their efforts in helping children.  Whether in Concord, Raleigh or any other community, I would highly recommend that we all find some way to support the Boys & Girls Clubs.  Whether through financial means or through donations of time and energy, you can make a difference!
